SayHello Neighbor provides Serve513 for volunteer accounts and community service-day coordination. These terms describe the conditions for using the website and its tools. If you cannot follow these terms, contact us before using an account.
Your account and access
Provide accurate account information, use your own sign-in credentials, and keep them private. Use only the permissions assigned to you. Do not share accounts, impersonate another person, or attempt to bypass access controls. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Creating an account does not guarantee a volunteer placement or permission to access service records. Coordinators assign roles and may require training, approval, or supervision for particular activities. Ask a coordinator about age and supervision requirements before a minor participates.
Respectful and confidential service
- Treat volunteers, staff, and neighbors respectfully, without harassment or discrimination.
- Access personal information only when needed for your assigned service task.
- Do not copy, photograph, export, or share personal records outside authorized program activities.
- Keep service records accurate and report mistakes to a coordinator.
- Do not use contact information for personal outreach, solicitation, or unrelated purposes.
- Sign out on shared devices and report lost devices or accidental disclosures promptly.
These confidentiality responsibilities continue after your access or volunteer role ends.
Acceptable use
Use Serve513 for authorized program activities. Do not upload malicious software, interfere with other users, scrape personal records, or submit information you are not authorized to provide. Tell a coordinator about a security problem instead of testing it against other people's accounts or records.
Availability and participation
Features and event arrangements may change, and outages can occur. Check important assignments with your coordinator and follow the event's backup procedures when the platform is unavailable. Serve513 is a coordination tool, not an emergency service or a source of medical advice.
These website terms do not replace event safety instructions, required training, or any separately presented volunteer agreement. They do not grant permission to use a person's photograph or story and do not contain a release of liability for volunteer activities.
Privacy and ending access
Our privacy policy explains how we handle account and volunteer information. We may restrict or suspend access to protect people and records, address misuse, or reflect a change in your role. You may stop using the platform and contact us to request account closure or raise a concern about an access decision.
