Want to help out at Serve513? Awesome! This guide shows you every step with pictures. It is written to be as easy as possible — if you can order a pizza online, you can do this.

Here is the whole journey in one sentence: make an account, log in, and show up for a service day. That’s it — 6 little steps. Let’s go.

Step 1: Go to the website

Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari — any of them) and go to the Serve513 home page. This is the front door.

See the big blue button that says Sign up to volunteer? That is your button. Click it.

Step 2: Create your account

Now you are on the sign-up page. It says Welcome! because we are happy you are here.

You have two easy ways to make an account. Pick whichever feels easier:

  1. The one-click way. Click the Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn button and pick the account you already have. Done.
  2. The email way. Type your email address, make up a password, and click Continue. We will send a code to your email to make sure it is really you — type it in and you are done.

That’s the whole sign-up. You now have an account. High five.

Step 3: Log in

Next time you come back, you log in instead of signing up. The login page says Welcome Back! — because now you are one of us.

Use the same button or email you used in Step 2. Same door, same key.

Step 4: Say hello to your dashboard

After you log in, you land on your dashboard. It greets you by name and shows what is happening today.

You do not need to do anything here yet. It is just your home base. Think of it as your bedroom in the Serve513 house.

Step 5: Find a service day

Scroll down on the home page to the Next service days section. This list shows every upcoming event you can join — the date, the place, and what services are happening that day.

Pick a day that works for you and put it on your calendar. Come as you are, bring a friend, or bring your whole crew — everything on the list is open to volunteers.

Step 6: Show up on the day

On the day of the event, log in and open the Service Day page. This is mission control — it shows the day’s stations (clothing, haircuts, showers, hygiene) and everything happening live.

When you arrive, the team will point you to a station and show you what to do. No experience needed — just bring yourself.

  1. Go to the website and click Sign up to volunteer
  2. Create your account (one click, or email and password)
  3. Log in
  4. Land on your dashboard
  5. Pick a service day from the list
  6. Show up and help
